An aquarium RO/DI system usually sends final product tubing directly to a collection vessel. A faucet diverter may instead act as a removable feed connection, which is different from a dedicated faucet that dispenses purified water.
Follow the exact manual. Do not add a faucet, pressure tank, or drinking-water branch to an aquarium unit unless the manufacturer supports that configuration.
